MainResponsibilitiesYour role focuses on improving ourmarket position and achieving financial growth. You are expected to definelong-term organisational strategic goals, build key customer relationships,identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals andmaintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
Working as the BDM, you are requiredto achieve sales success through developing and maintaining relationships withbrokers and broker groups.
You will report directly to the General Manager, your responsibilities willinclude, but not be limited to:· Develop a strategic and tacticalbusiness plan for market share penetration· Proactively seeking new business inthe market place· Identify poor quality lodgements andworking closely with brokers and aggregators through coaching to support betterquality applications· Encourage cross selling of otherbank products to increase portfolio products per customer· Represent the company in aprofessional manner at industry events and conferences (optional interstatetravel)· Effectively facilitate trainingsessions
To be successful in this role, you must have a comprehensive knowledge of ourfinance products and SME business lending. Your proven track record in salesand business development, with your excellent negotiation skills and strongcustomer service focus will also see you succeed in this role.
Your high level of motivation and excellent interpersonal skills will ensure tobuild effective working relationships with the team, key stakeholders and thebroader business.
