您父母过来的签证应该是旅游签类别（600）。如果你是澳洲居民或持PR签证，可以为父母申请6个月以上的签证，一般可以签三年有效，18个月内居住时间不超过12个月的签证。如果不是，签证一般是最长呆3个月，多次往返的，出境后可以立即开始下一个3个月的周期。如果需要呆更长的时间，则需在申请材料上注明特殊请求，如照顾生病的亲人。照顾孩子一般不是特殊的需求。

另外很多人问过有关600签证最后一次入境时间的问题。最后一次入境只要在签证有效期内，入境后就可以住3个月，也就是说出境时是很可能超过有效期的，这是可以的。但是要保证在有效期内入境。
