在澳大利亚，出租的房屋的确是有特别的管制的。但是在睡房的门上装门闩是一个合理的要求，我不明白中介为什么反对。因此，你可以直接与中介联络，商讨这件事，如果不能解决，我提议你直接与Consumer And Business Service联络，然后咨询并拿取一个专业的意见。

您好，我就是和中介商讨了此事最终才变成了这样。中介一开始只是各种推脱，最后就搬出所谓的消防安全法和我说出租的房屋不能在睡房装门闩或者锁，我觉得这纯属就是扯淡，我准备咨询Home security的专家（警局发来的一封信上边有联系方式），问问到底是怎么回事，非常感谢您的帮助。

话说Harris算是大中介了，为何做事感觉那么不专业。
