1. 任何澳洲公民或永久居民，一生里面只可申请2次配偶到澳洲定居。两次必须相隔5年，除非特殊情况，否则移民局不会考虑第三次申请。
2. 如果申请了第一个配偶来定居后，与配偶离婚或配偶自然死亡，5年内不能再次申请。
