我是TR，来了以后买了一套二手房作为自住，现在想买一套HOUSE，不过又想保留这套现住的二手房可以吗？还是TR不可以买第二套二手房房子？

我不知道你在卖第一套房子的时候是否有获得澳大利亚海外投资局的批准。任何非公民或永久居民在澳洲购买房子都必须要经过海外投资局（Foreign Investment Review Board）的书面批准，否则是不可以在澳洲买房子的。如果没有的话，建议你尽快补办该申请。
再者，就算经过批准，非公民或永久居民是不可以购买第二套房子的，而且第一套房子也只能用作自住之用，不能出租。违例者最高罚款10000元或监禁一年。

我不知道你的TR是学生还是163签证，如果是学生的话，一贯政策都是要申请的。如果是163移民，09年7月的时候是放宽了无需申请的。但系2010年1月1日开始就要申请。现在对TR买房时很严谨的。移民局与土地登记处都是有联系的。最好咨询你当时购入房子的律师，是否有申请，如果没有是可以补办的。最近很多TR被起诉，希望你不要以身试法。

你和你的先生是一个家庭，只能购买一套房子作为自住。就算你到海外投资部申请，都是不会批准的。如果你硬要购买，便是抵触法例，迟早会被查出，届时不但要罚款或监禁，你们的475也会被取消。澳洲是法治社会，你们来了澳洲就要遵守澳洲的法律。
