我要说的一场交通事故发生在2013年的8月份，那天我在city开车，因为在找一个地址，所以边开车边在寻找门牌号码，一时疏忽没有注意前面的警车踩了刹车，所以撞上了警车后保险杠，当时车速就40几码，没有超速，当时就查了没有酒驾，警察也检查了我的手机，查明我当时没有在打电话或者发信息！我也没有忘带驾照！而且交警也来了，也没开给我任何罚单，就是让我赔付他们的修车费用！现在修车的事已经解决了！但是今天早上接到电话说，现在警察要charege我driving without due care，要我上法庭！事情已经过去近一年了，没想到还会收到这传票，我想请教郑律师，这个charge会成立吗？如果成立会有什么结果？

因为你撞上了警察的车 所以逮了个正着  如果是私家车主私了  没报警就不用扣分罚款了

因为这些小碰撞 私家车主即使当时报警 警察也不会来干涉的 叫你们自己协商解决   除非你事后赖账  人家报警了

你去法庭 交了罚款 就行了 扣分么 难免了

什么时候起诉这是人家的权利，只要是在诉讼有效期内，什么时候这帮人实在闲的无聊了，或者到财政年底需要完成什么指标了，那就开始找这些倒霉蛋的麻烦了。
