Job type: Full Time
Purpose of the position: The marketing specialist at CentralPerk Lodge will be responsible to identify market opportunities and advise onthe development, coordination and implementation of plans for pricing,budgeting and promoting Central Perk Lodge’s accommodation, meals and otherservices.
Wage package: $60,000+ Superannuation, or negotiable if you havemore than 10 years experience
Essential Requirements:

Possessat least bachelor degree from an accredited university in the field ofMarketing, Business and/or Cross-cultural Negotiation and Communication;

Demonstratedability to work as part of a team and develop effective relationships in orderto support the planning and implementation of marketing plans and thedevelopment of industry;

Demonstratedability to consult and liaise widely with internal and external stakeholders,show initiative and make sound decisions;

Demonstratedhigh level of cultural awareness and sensitivity and ability to operatesuccessfully in a cross-cultural environment with a culturally diverse clientgroup ;

Computerliteracy in standard operating systems such as Microsoft Word, Excel andOutlook and use of internet technology are essential;

Relatedworking experience in Accommodation or food industry is preferred;

FluentEnglish speaker with relatively good understanding of Asian culture ispreferred.

Dutiesand responsibilities

planning and organisingmarketing and promotion information to support Central Perk Lodge’s tacticalplans for new and existing products;

advising advertisingstrategies, creating consumer awareness and effectively promoting theattributes of Central Perk Lodge’s services;

communicating andunderstanding market research to identify market opportunities for new andexisting goods and services;

analysing dataregarding consumer patterns and preferences;

gathering andinterpreting product, customer and market research data, searching potentialdemand and market trends for new services, predicting current and futureconsumer trends;

collecting andanalysing competitive data and consolidates findings to support local andregional marketing strategy development;

supporting businessgrowth and development through the preparation and execution of marketingobjectives, policies and programs;

maintaining marketingplans, programs, and initiatives that are strategic assets to the business andall clients;

developingopportunities to add additional value to company indicatives including internetmarketing, direct marketing, tradeshow development, etc;

assisting with thedevelopment, writing, and communication of marketing plans, promotional recaps,creative briefs, project recommendations, and presentations;

advising on allelements of marketing such as product mix, pricing, advertising and salespromotion, selling, and distribution channels.
