A unique opportunity is available for a Mandarin-speaking and career-minded

person to join as Trainee Executive with an Australian property development

company. The person will be groomed to take charge of the sales & marketing of

the company’s $30 million resort development planned for Hervey Bay. Future

transfer to hospitality management for the resort is available. Relocation to

Hervey Bay is required in the near future.

Applicants do not need to have previous real estate experience as long as they

have a good attitude and possess personal qualities such as politeness, good

presentation, easy-going manners, and a willingness to work hard to establish a

successful career with the company. Applicants with university qualifications

and/or past experience would be an advantage but not essential. An internship

period of 4-6 months or so would be involved. Remuneration would be

negotiated on a sales formula and is expected to be in the range of $75,000 to

$150,000 per annum. For the right person, equity ownership would also be

considered after successful performance. Age is not important but the person

must be determined and free from social and family commitments as the hours

of work are expected to be demanding. Interstate and overseas trips may also be

involved. After internship, the person would be encouraged to study REIQ course

and obtain a manager’s license.
