      1、形体优美：正处于快速生长发育时期的孩子，经过舞蹈培训(如挺胸、抬头、收腹)能使他们站得直，形体优美，且能纠正驼背、端肩等形体问题。舞蹈培训促进少年儿童的生长发育。据统计调查，同样性别同年龄的儿童，参加舞蹈训练的比不参加舞蹈训练的，身高平均要高4--8厘米。
　　2、动作协调：舞蹈需要全身各部位的配合，通过音乐与舞蹈动作的和谐达成动作协调性的训练，并且使孩子更有节奏感。
　　3、肢体灵活性和柔韧性：由于经常练习压脚、劈叉、下腰等，孩子的柔韧性，动作灵活性好。还能够提高少儿的身体素质。经过训练，儿童的力量、控制、稳定性、耐力等方面的身体素质都会得到提高。
　　4、锻炼毅力：从基本功开始训练能培养他们不怕吃苦的精神，磨练坚强意志。
　　5、提高身体素质：舞蹈培训需要一定的体力消耗，剪除练习后能促进孩子食欲、增强消化机能，提高身体抵抗力，减少生病机会。使少儿神经系统的结构和机能发生适应性改善，促进视觉、听觉、肢体感觉等各感觉机能的提高，使大脑更灵活、健全，反应更迅速，动作更灵敏。舞蹈还有利于提高生理机能。训练能够改善心肺系统的结构和功能，减少患心脏病的危险性，降低血压和增加骨胳密度，同时使人精力和体力更加充沛，不易疲劳。
　　6、提高合作能力和集体荣益感：舞蹈培训有独舞、双人舞、集体舞，只有配合默契才能表演好，由此训练了孩子们的合作精神，养成自觉遵守规则、纪律，培养了协作的观念。
　　7、培养审美情感：舞蹈培训是通过音乐、动作、表情、姿态表现内心世界，使孩子潜移默化地接受到艺术表演的熏陶，使孩子们热爱生活，并能欣赏美、体验美。
　　8、培养自信心：舞蹈演出能培养孩子当中表演的能力，使孩子们不怯场，表现力强，增强自信心和更好的心理素质。
　　9、培养孩子的想像力：舞蹈培训是通过形体、动作、眼神来表现的，在跳舞的过程中能激发孩子的想像力、创造力，尤其是自编自演的作品，能促进孩子智力发展。
