Dear Tyna,
Hope you are well.
I am writing to thank you and Platinum Professional Training for your support towards securing my accounting job.I just started from the past week.
I would love to share my interview experience with you so it can help other candidates of the same field. I started looking for accounting related jobs in April through Seek.com. I got a phone interview and a few other face to face interviews. This job came suddenly when I was waiting for two interviews. One of their staff was leaving soon so they need someone who can start the job immediately and can stay for long period. The job mostly focuses on Accounts Payable, including a little bit of Accounts Receivable, Inventory and Payroll.
Below are a list of questions that was asked during my interview:
Tell me about yourself?
What are your responsibilities?
Why are you leaving your current job?
What is your plan in the future? (personal plan not career plan) How do you get here? Transportation Are you eager to learn things?
Do you mind taking other responsibilities which are not related to accounting?
Are you going to complete CPA or CA course?
They didn't ask me any behavior questions buy they did ask about technical questions.
Hopefully, my interview experience helps for other job seekers.
