因为警方已经抓到了这个殴打你的人，因此理论上你便需要向这个殴打你的人采取民事的起诉程序，向他追讨赔偿。

律师费不是你们想象中这么昂贵的。通常出一封律师信的费用是$300至$500元左右。这个追讨赔偿的民事诉讼官司，整个官司程序包括上法庭约为$3,000元左右。
