Yes, but studying abroad is not just about learning the English language. It is also to experience a different way of life, cultural exchange and learning to live outside your comfort zone.
Which school/university do you go to? Also, do you know there is a secular ESL club in Adelaide?

还是先从语言学起吧，文化什么的有意思但是短期内没啥用，时间有限只能功利一点。

But I encourage to join a school/university club of your interest. Joining the ESL club is a good option but I think you'll learn better if you are engaged in doing things you enjoy.

其实最好的就是去做义工， 去敬老院陪老头子老太聊天。 这才是最碉堡的练口语和听力， 而且老头子老太还不会说得很快，口齿基本都清楚，对口语刚达标做义工标准的人来说再好不过了
