手很生，幸好是练习，要不花这么时间（40多分钟）在考试的时候就悲剧了。感觉synonyms用起来很不顺手，因为同样的一个词（employment rate）要用很多遍，所以用了career prospects, situations, got into corporate world。归类也要注意，7组数据，两升一平三降，正好分两段。句法结构是：引入段——复合句+复杂句/ Body 1——简单句+复杂句+复合句+简单句/ Body 2——简单句+复合句+简单句。
The following diagram illustrates graduate employment situations over seven majors in Molovia and it also shows changes from year 1995 to 2005. In general, career prospects had become less promising, as most areas show declines in employment rates.
Computer science and general science were the only two fields saw growth during this period. Future PC engineers had brightest prospects in job market, with the employment rate growing from 90 percent in 1995 to 95 percent in 2005. Meanwhile, 70 percent of science graduates got into corporate world within 6 month of graduation in 1995, and the rate increased to 75 percent in 2005. The demand for teaching graduates remained unchanged, with 70 percent of employment rate.
In contrast, situations deteriorated in other majors. In 1995, graduates in business, law and engineering had decent employment rates ranging from 75 to 85 percent, but this decreased to around 65 percent after 10 years. Art students were the underdogs with only 45 percent of them got employed in 2005, comparing to 55 percent in 1995. |
