今天港大来信说：
  On March 13 we passed on our recommended list to the Graduate School which will then arrange centrally to inform all applicants. I expect you will hear from them soon.
  Although it is the Graduate School which will send you formally the information, I can here informally tell you the situation. Owing to the few
quotas we are allocated and the large number of applicants, we cannot offer a
place to all strong candidates, much as we would wish to. You are put in the
waitlist, actually fairly much in the front of the waitlist.
