商务签证分为两类，456是单程往返商务签证，有效期为三个月。457为多次往返商务签证，通常申请是需要本地的公司书面赞助才可以申请的。

如果你妈妈的朋友想来澳大利亚观光的话，最直接的方法是申请旅游签证。如果你妈妈的朋友是没有移民的签证的话，他是不可以在澳大利亚买住宅房子的。最好叫他咨询一位律师拿一点法律意见，以免无谓触犯了澳大利亚联邦法例。
