Marketing Officer Student Recruitment

(Vocational Education Sector)

Part-time 3 days per week

Commencing March2017

Aprivate Registered Training Organisation with over 35 years’ experience isseeking an experienced Marketing Officer Student Recruitment. CBD location.Vibrant and passionate team!

Thesuccessful candidate will be an ideas person, willing to take risks andresponsibilities.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a South Australian business expandingto the world. Seeking new overseas markets in China, South Korea, Japan and LatinAmerica.

Duties and responsibilities

· Developand manage relationships with agent channels and ensure agents are trained andupdated on all programs through in-market visits and training sessions, electronicplatform, video, email and phone support.

· AchieveNew Student Enrolment targets onshore and offshore regions

· Contributeto the development of a channel marketing plan for all recruitment

· Supportexisting clients, building relationships and ongoing partnerships

· Arrangeagent visit and familiarisation visits to campus

· Attendevents and expos in-market

· Conductmarket research

· Designdirect response offers

· Promoteproducts and services

· Schedulemarketing campaigns

· Analyseconsumer behaviour

· Reporton financial activity

· Contributeto the development of marketing materials, promotional flyers, product updates,brochures etc. for relevant target markets

· Assistwith the international distribution of marketing collateral

· Adherenceto the ESOS Act, National Code, and CRICOS compliance and all other legislativerequirements throughout all duties.

About the role

Marketing and Recruitment plays an essential role in profiling and positioningof AHTS Training and Education as a first choice among its diverse community,target and stakeholder groups. This role will look specifically at targetingnew or existing students, seeking and exploring new opportunities with corporateclients through the student recruitment and marketing of AHTS products.

Skills and experience

Essential

Tertiary qualifications with substantial experience in a relevant field
Experience in a sales and/or recruitment role within relevant field
Excellent organisation skills and the ability to be a key member of a team
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures
Experience with design software and a graphic design eye
Excellent administration skills, including financial literacy
The ability to follow a defined workflow and to meet deadlines
Substantial computer skills particularly in the area of database management
Ability to multitask and handle interruptions

Desirable

Previous experience within the education (particularly Vocational) sector
Previous experience within the Hospitality or Cookery industry
Competency in a second language is highly desirable, preferably Mandarin Chinese.

Salary

There is scope to negotiate salary and allocated working hours with thesuccessful applicant. This will be based on the successful candidate'sexperience and the ability to complement and add to the skill set and to theteam within the development, communications and marketing areas.
