A nice bedroom in a two bedroom flat at first floor (equivalent to second floor as called in China) in a 3 stories house is available from 1 Sept, 2006 (earlier moving in also possible). The flat is close to St Pauls Road, just off Whiteladies road (the central business street). It takes only less than 10 minutes by walk to the Senate House (the centre of University of Bristol) and 5 minutes to the Sainsbury’s (local supermarket) and the university student union (a swimming pool underneath the union building). Click http://www.multimap.com/map/brow ... p;addr3=&addr1= to have a view of the location, or enter postcode BS8 2BL at http://www.multimap.com).
There is a bathroom, a kitchen, a living room, a small balcony (and two bedrooms of course) in the flat. The flat is fully furnished (kitchen with appliances, bathroom with shower, washing machine, fridge and has a single bed (with mattress), study desk, wardrobe and chest of drawers in the available bedroom. There are plenty of bowls, plates, chopsticks, high pressure cooker, rice cooker (brought from China), microwave cooker, etc in the kitchen, so you even don't need to bring them. There is a TV set with a freeview top set box (30 channels can be received, so you don't need to buy a TV set and top set box), sofa, dining table, chairs, etc in the living room. A shared broadband internet connection (both wireless and wired OK) is available if you want internet connection (you definitely need it).
You will share the living room, bathroom, kitchen with a friendly reliable young Chinese couple (a PhD student and a part time student). We have been living here since last September with another girl (will leave this August).
The monthly rent is 260 pounds (very competitive price in terms of good location and utilities, etc) excluding bills. Deposit of 300 pounds is required (if you are in China you can make payment to our family in China using the equivalent RMB).
To rent this bedroom, you must be a quite, tidy, non-smoking and easy-going girl, preferably a postgraduate student. Ideally, you should rent the room from September 2006 to next August. If you are interested in and for more information like flat pictures, or just want to have a viewing (if you are already in the UK) please email to [email protected]. Thank you.
