About the Role
The Role will evolve as the business grows. As Human Resources Manager, you will provide supports in the recruiting and hiring process, with a key focus on the food & beverage service workforce. This role will also be responsible for – but not limited to – assisting in all administrative tasks, including payroll processes and the maintenance of employee data; developing policies and procedures in accordance with Company standards and employment law; and participating in international projects and activities, contributing to the various HR projects.
Essential Functions
?        Provide a consultancy and generalist HR support service to EPIC AU Group management and employees on HR best practice and legislative matters
?        Responsible for recruitment along with on-boarding and exiting processes, including coaching, mentoring and influencing the Leadership team on all aspects of employee management.
?        Create and maintain HR policies, procedures and position descriptions
?        Encourage and coordinate a positive culture through reward and recognition programs
?        Ability to build and foster employees relationships
?        Attend to payroll administrative tasks such as awards, remuneration and benefits
About you
You are a positive individual with a can-do attitude who is looking for further development of your career in Human Resources. In addition to this, the following skills and attributes will contribute to your success:
?        A minimum undergraduate degree in a discipline related to the responsibilities of the role.
?        A minimum 5 years' experience within Human Resources; catering industry experience would be advantageous
?        A high level of emotional intelligence and competency in relation to people management
?        Good knowledge and understanding of employment law;
?        Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; Experience in MYOB and a HR software system would be helpful
?        Problem solving, with excellent attention to detail;
?        Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Mandarin speaker preferred.
?        Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced and growing environment;
