I am currently studying at a chinese college(College Of Mobile Telecommunications.Chongqing University
of posts And Telecom.)As a student majoring in Telecommunication Technology,i have taken courses about
Information Technoloages . During my acamdemic years ,i developed a grate interest in Computer Program
desining(C&Java) .I wish in particular to be trained at an advanced level in software systems ,database systems,applied-AIand knowledge-based systems.My ultimate goal is to become a computer scientist.I believe that advanced training in a quality undergraduate program will help me realize my goal.
During my high school study,i am interested in mathematics and physics.The flaxiable ways which to solve mathematical problems are really fascinated me.I would like to spend much time on finding out a new way to solve the problems but not just fellowed the way teacher gives us,i think innovation and interest are more important than been trained again and again at that time.I aways like to discuss the problems with my mathematics and physics teacher,but i did not do great in chinese university entrance examination,my grades are not high enough to let me to go into a distinguished university also a course i am interested in. The frustration let me spend a mouth to get though and finally I figured out that no matter where i am,hard-studying can still continue my dream,so i choosed an IT college to develop my knowledge.
From the beginning of my study,my endeavor was not fixed on the underlying branches of Telecommunication Technology,I am interested in exploring how problems can be modeled and solved using artificial intelligence.I have been trying to concentrate my studies on those subjects that underpin the discipline,particulerly mathematics and computer programm desin.To build up my solid knowledge in computer science,I have taken virtually all the related courses that the college has had to offer.These courses include C Language Programm Designing,Java program Designing,Linear Algebra,Database Application,Microcomputer Principle & Interface Technology.I spend my spare time in library to learn these subjects,particularly C and java programm and after 1st term i have got a certificate of C.
Aided by the firm command of the basics,I have found it not only easy but also exciting to study the various subjects covered by computer science.But without advanced knowledge,i can do nothing but wait.From the college guide and my advisor's recommendation,i am pleased to learn that your department has an academic atmosphere where originality is appreciated and individual potential is explored. It will be the best place for my specialized study.I do believe that i will do great in your distinguished institution with my hard-studying.
