今天看到一个说法，可以很好地译出“大姨妈来了”的意思。那就是“Charlie’s come”，实际上这个词语在俗语中可以指任何不快的、难以启齿的东西。可怜的Charlie（查理）！叫这个名字的人有点儿倒霉，就象英语中很普通的名字如“Tom, Dick and Harry”可以表示“张三李四，阿猫阿狗，一般人”一样。
