在澳洲各高校公布了承认中国高考成绩之后，给一些在高考中发挥失常的同学创造了进入好学校的机会， 学校的选择范围更加广泛。
翰华留学专家对澳大利亚认可中国高考成绩的大学进行了盘点：
澳大利亚
悉尼大学、西澳大学、阿德莱德大学、澳大利亚国立大学、新南威尔士大学、蒙纳什大学、昆士兰大学。
澳大利亚其他高校
南澳大学、科廷大学、卧龙岗大学、皇家墨尔本理工大学、西悉尼大学、南昆士兰大学、塔斯马尼亚大学、拉筹伯大学等。
该录取标准帮助了想去留学的高中毕业生节省了一年的宝贵时间(澳大利亚本科学制为3年)，同时也减轻了经济负担。
但是，承认高考并不意味着放宽了入学要求。高考成绩要达到学院规定的入取要求外，英语水平也同样要达到标准。例如：悉尼大学要求的最低直读要求是雅思6.5分，单项不低于6分，这一要求是对于一般的专业而言。例如法律专业，语言的要求一般在雅思7.5分。

留学准备和高考备考没有冲突。考前申请，可以让参加高考的孩子有个更加放松的心态，即使高考不理想，可以马上安排申请签证，前往录取的学校就读。考后申请，在时间上稍微有些紧张，但是对于条件基本符合的同学，有很大可能比一同参加高考的同学晚半年或一年入学，具体情况依据申请学校的申请要求而定。
