用英语学法语：Savoir和Connaître的区别

法语中有两个动词都可以表示英语中的“to know”，那就是——savoir和conna?tre。它们俩之间也有比较明显不同的含义和用法。
Savoir有三种含义：
1) 知道一个事实
Je sais qu'il l'a fait. =I know he did it.
我知道他做了那件事。
2) 熟知某事，牢记于心
Je sais cette nouvelle (par c?ur). =I know this short story (by heart).
我熟知这则小故事。
3) 懂得如何做某事
Savez-vous conduire ? =Do you know how to drive?
您会驾驶吗？
Je ne sais pas nager. =I don't know how to swim.
我不会游泳。
在复合过去时（passé composé）中，savoir表示"了解"或者"发现":
J'ai su qu'il l'a fait. =I found out that he did it.
我发现是他做了那件事。
Savoir经常引导从句，例句：
Je sais où il est. =I know where he is.
我知道他在哪。
Il sait que nous serons à la fête. =He knows we'll be at the party.
他知道我们会去参加庆祝会。
Conna?tre有两种含义：
1)认识一个人
Je connais Pierrette. =I know Pierrette.
我认识Pierrette。
2) 熟悉某人或某物
Je connais bien Toulouse. =I know / am familiar with Toulouse.
我很了解图卢兹。
Je connais cette nouvelle - je l'ai lue l'année dernière. =I know / am familiar with this short story - I read it last year.
我知道这个故事，去年就读过了。
在复合过去时中，conna?tre表示“第一次遇见”或者“对某物开始变得熟悉”：
J'ai connu Pierrette à Lyon. =I met Pierrette in Lyon.
我在里昂认识的Pierrette。
Conna?tre后面必须有直接宾语：
Je connais son poème. =I am familiar with his poem.
我了解他的诗歌作品。
Je connais bien ton père. =I know your father well.
我非常了解你的父亲。
Nous connaissons Paris. =We know/are familiar with Paris.
我们对巴黎很熟。
Il la conna?t. =He knows her.
他认识她。
简单来说，两者的区别在于：Savoir表示熟知事实或某种能力，当后面接动词不定式的时候，意指知道如何做某件事，比如：Je sais jouer de laguitare（我会弹吉他）。Conna?tre则用在人、地点等方面，表示个人相识或者亲近的人。我们可以通过对话再来加深印象：
Joe-Bob: Tex, explique-moi la différence entre savoir et conna?tre. Je ne comprends pas.
Tex, explain the difference between savoir and conna?tre to me. I don't understand.
-Tex，你给我解释一下savoir和conna?tre的区别吧。我不是很明白。
Tex: C'est très simple, Joe-Bob. On sait des faits mais on conna?t des gens et des endroits. Par exemple, je connais Tammy, la France et la Tour Eiffel.
It's very simple, Joe-Bob. One knows (with savoir) facts, but one knows (with conna?tre) people and places. For example, I know Tammy, France, the Eiffel Tower.
-这很简单，Joe-Bob。了解事实用savoir，了解人或者地方就用conna?tre。比如说，我认识Tammy、法国和埃菲尔铁塔。
Joe-Bob: Oh, OK, et moi, je sais jouer de la guitare et je sais où se trouvel'université du Texas.
Joe-Bob: Oh, OK, and I know how to play the guitar and I know where the University of Texas is located.
-哦，知道了，我会弹吉他，知道德克萨斯大学在哪。
Tex: Mais enfin, Joe-Bob, tu n'es pas aussi stupide qu'on le pense.
Tex: Well, Joe-Bob. You aren't as stupid as they think.
挺好呀，Joe-Bob，你也不是想的那么笨嘛。
