This is a remote, home-based position. ScopicSoftware is seeking a bilingual web developer to help usdevelop web sites and web applications for the Japanese market. You will needto communicate with our Japanese sales and project management personnel andalso our English development engineers. Scopic Software is US-based companywith employees in more than 10 different countries. The company developsgraphics, *** and image processing/analysis software for the desktop,web and mobile platforms. Engineers work from the comfort of their home using aPC and internet connection. Work is interesting and challenging. Skills required:
Good Japanese reading and writing skills.
Good English reading and writing skills.
Good HTML / CSS skills.
Good Javascript skills.
Good Wordpress skills is a plus, but not required.
Graphics Design experience is a plus, but not required.
Experience with backend programming (PHP, ASP.NET, SQL) is a plus, but not required.
2+ years experience in software development.
Dedication and discipline to work remotely from home.
Good home computer and internet connection.
