Active English is a relatively small family-run, but fully professional,
English language school,
located in the old village of Lucan, about 14 km from the city centre
of Dublin. We provide professional English language tuition at all levels,
including preparation for examinations if required. We note your TOEFL
score, and we would indeed be able to help you improve from that level .
Classes can be part-time or full-time, and prices are as follows:
Part-time (two mornings 9.45 - 12.45) ?55 (fifty five Euro) per week
Part-time (two evenings 19.00 - 21.00) ?40 (forty Euro) per week.
Full-time (five mornings) ?140 (one hundred and forty Euro) per week
There is an initial Registration Fee of ?40 (forty Euro).
Long-term rates for full-time tuition are:
One year (48 academic weeks) ?3200, six months (24 weeks) (which is what
you specifically asked about) ?1700, and three
months (12 weeks) ?1000.
The timetable is: For full-time, every weekday morning 09.45 to 12.45 and
for part-time, any two mornings or Tuesday and Thursday evenings 19.00 to
21.00.
We like to provide individual attention for our students, and our students
tell us they prefer the 'family atmosphere' here to that of the bigger
city-centre schools.
Also we can help with accommodation - homestay with a local family or other
alternatives.
Active English is Recognised by the Department of Education for the Teaching
of English as a Foreign Language.
