There is no denying the fact that students who keep their rooms neat and organized tend to be more successful, in that neat rooms indicate the carefulness of the students and also provide students with a better atmosphere to study. However, considerable number of people hold the opposite opinion that neat rooms have little relation with the success of life. As far as I am concerned, the former one is more reasonable.
First and foremost, a student who keep his room neat shows his great carefulness, which contributes a lot to his study, work, personal relationship and even all his life. For example, one of my best friends, Mary, who is a typical representative of neat students, performs better than any one else in our class. Every morning, she gets up very early and give a total clean to her room. What is more, she is the one who can do this in a quite short time. Then she makes a detailed plan of the day and starts her study in her comfortable room, thus making her a very excellent student who always have the best performance. But for me, I often make my room in a mess, which makes me no passion to study in my room and so what a bad performance I am in my class.
Besides, neat and organized rooms have a good impression on other people, which provides a person with more chances to make more friends. And as we know, the number of friends really have a significant role in one’s life. As the old saying goes (and I paraphrase) “More friends a person have, more opportunities to succeed the person may gain”. For me, I have a preferance to make friends with people who are neat, because I think those people are honest and reliable.
Nevertheless, it does not mean that all people who succeed in their lives are neat and people who have unneat room can’t be a success. It really depends. Many famous people who pay little attention to their rooms neat or not are still respected by all of us. For instance, one of my favorable teachers, Mr. Yao, who shows great preciseness in his teaching has a quite mess office, which makes many students play jokes with him. But he is always our best teacher, who assists us a lot in both our study and life aspects. What is more, he is also a person with extraodinay confidence and patience.
In conclusion, students who keep their rooms neat and organized have more opportunities to be a success, which is held by the majority of people, but it should be also accepted that situations
just depend. It is of course better for us to be a neat-room student and be careful with our study than not. |
