Weare a private tour companythat offers travel consulting service and tour packages to general public.

We now require an experienced permanent full timeaccountant to join our small but friendly Brisbane head office in the CBD area.

Keyroles and responsibilities:

·        Manageaccounts receivable and accounts payable functions, processing transactions ,ensuring that all income and expenses are allocated to appropriate cost entries

·        Payinvoices by verifying transaction information; scheduling and preparingdisbursements, obtaining authorisation of payment in a timely manner

·        Followup on supplier rebates

·        Recordcash receipts

·        BASreturns

·        MonthEnd General Ledger postings and reconciliations

·        Maintainfinancial historical records by filing accounting documents in an orderlymanner

·        Assistwith phone answering

·        Monitoroffice supply levels

·        Contributesto team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

·        Anyother task assigned by management

Candidate requirements:

·        -Possessinga minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role with a strong knowledge ofMYOB or Xero software

·        -Mustobtain adequate accounting knowledge

·        -Canspeak/read fluent Chinese and English

·        -Highlevel attention to detail

·        -Highlevel written and verbal communication skills

·        -PermanentResident or Australian Citizen

Workingknowledge of the Travel Agency will be highly regarded.

Salary will be commensurate on experience. Available to startimmediately.
