Did they send you any message or notice to remind you have reach certain % or your usage?
2. Did you come up with $2000 excess charges within a very short time? (eg. one night)
Here's the thing:
If they did not give you any notice when you are close to your usage or exceed your usage; and
you did not accumulate such high amount of excess charges in a very short time, which the service provider has reasonable time (business days) to give you a notice/suspension to your service.
You may able to raise a complaint to TIO, and have part of the charges waived.
But before you do that, try to ring them and point out they did not suspense your service when you come up with such high excess, which they have partially contributed to such high excess charges. See what they can offer. |
