Hi Tyna, Thank you so much for the wishes, and I am thankful to Platinum Accounting to secure a position in an Accounting field, which is a milestone for my career growth. I am now working as an Account Officer in a Fund Management Company for a six-month role. I have faced three interview process which involves phone interview as well. I was asked to tell a brief about myself, willingness to work in six-month contract and willingness to work in a particular location. The phone interview was held by the Head of Human Resources. In few days time, they asked me to come for an interview. It was a challenging task for me because I never had an experience in a fund management companies. I have listed down the questions asked during the interview.
- How do you do Bank reconciliation and GL reconciliation?
- What is the accounting software you are familiar with?
- How to solve the conflict management?
- Tell me about the situation where the manager is not supporting for a project and how do you handle it?
- Tell about a project which involved process improvement in a system?
- How do you deal when your ideas for a certain decision making is not acceptable by others?
- Tell us an example of teamwork in a project environment?
Most of the questions raised with the technical and behavioural questions. I am able to learn much information while I was doing the internship and attending class. I am grateful for that. Thank you, Regards, Thivakaran
