As a major exporter in China, the company has risen toprominence in markets in Asia, particularly mainland China. With three subsidiaries, the group is widely engaged in all segments of the wine business,from grape-growing, premium wine, wine-making and bottling, branding,marketing, cellar doors, financing, events and exhibitions, PR and media.
GENERAL PURPOSE To develop, establish and maintainmarketing strategies to meet organizational objectives. Effective management ofthe marketing, advertising and promotional activities of the organization. Maximization of sales for the company’s products domestically andinternationally (excluding China). Help in the turnover of sales through directselling, acting as the brand ambassador and through promotional events,competitions and expos.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Driving sales and profit throughmanagement of domestic and international relationships - Develop strong commercial relationships with key customers - Grow brand position throughpromotional activity, customer presentations and trade shows - Identifying and capitalizing onfurther business development opportunities - Manage accounts and forecasting tocontribute to strategic planning and growth - Expand and develop / maintain marketing platforms including social media platforms - Maintain the company website andupdate information and product listings when necessary - Manage the productivity of themarketing plans and projects - Monitor, review and report on allmarketing activity and results - Deliver marketing activity withinagreed budget - Report on return on investment and key performance metrics in domestic market - Create marketing powerpoint presentations - Conduct research, make site visits andfind resources to assist in event possibilities - Monitor industry best practices andundertake additional training where appropriate to the role - Negotiate contracts, application andshipping of wines for expos, wine competition and events - Assist the team in exports to SEA region - Travel internationally and anddomestically to promote the brand for expos and other events. - Carry out necessary administrationtasks as directed by the CEO; reporting to the CEO on weekly tasks and otherrelevant matters
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Bachelor Degree in Marketing or relevant discipline
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- Good design skills, with knowledge of the Adobesuite and Photoshop. - Fluencyin English, good written and verbal communication skills. - Experience in general management, sales,marketing or trade marketing preferably in the wine industry. - You will have a proven ability to maintain anddevelop excellent trade relationships and drive the company's future salesgrowth. - You will be a confident, tenacious and enjoy challenges and diversity. You will be a self-motivated leader and presenter with a real passion for wine. - You will have excellent organizational skills,enthusiasm and vision.
