ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY.
An excellent opportunity has arisen with a highly respected Construction firm named Grandview Ausbuilder in Sydney. This company specialises in multi-story high rise residential projects valued from $15m - $100m. We are seeking experienced Electrical Supervisor/Foreman with experience in Large Domestic Property Projects ranging from $2 million to $20 million dollars.
Candidate is able to lead teams of tradesmen on large scale projects and need to be responsible and proficient in allocating tasks for a team of Electricians up to 2-10 members on a daily basis and doing the job right the 1st time, on time. You will have a clear understanding of procedures in regards to safety management, ITPs and being able to complete projects in a timely manner and within budget. You will need to possess skills in all facets of the electrical field such as fault finding, testing, and being up to date with the latest edition and amendments to wiring and service rules.
As an Electrician Supervisor, you will be required to manage a number of tradesmen.
You will be involved in supervising, leading and mentoring, fixing defects, and organising permits on the project.
DUTIES.
? Supervision and management of the electrical services
? Liaising with relevant project stakeholders
? Assist Project Manager with daily tasks
? Coordination of multiple disciplines to ensure smooth project delivery
? Review and ensuring of installation compliance
? Overview and ensuring WHS standards at met
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
? Ability to read and interpret technical / layout drawings, site plans, complete all necessary paperwork, and have a sound knowledge of all facets of the electrical trade.
? Have the ability to prioritise workload, quality and meet deadlines. Highly developed organisational and time management skills
? Understand relevant legislation/codes and their application to projects
? Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both verbal and written English. (Bilingual in Mandarin an advantage but not essential)
? Adaptable nature and good problem-solving skills
? The ability to listen and follow instructions and ask for help when necessary
? Previous experience in an Electrical Site Supervisor position is ideal
? Electrical Supervisors license is ideal
? Understand the importance of OH&S compliance on the work site
? Be reliable and have a sound work ethic.
ESSENTIAL.
? Construction white card
? Valid driver's licence
? Experience with related tools
? Ability to pass the National Security clearance
? Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screening
? The right to work
? At least 5 Years Local Electrical Experience
