移民官原话如下：Our department policy supports the grant of a long validity visa. In your case, 3 years validity with multiple entry, and providing for a stay in Australia of up to 12 months on each entry, subject to the provision of health insurance evidence.
If you decide to take the offer of a long validity visa, please provide us with the health insurance evidence via email or via the AVAC within 28 days of the date of this email. Our requirements for health insurance cover are that:The insurance is appropriate for visitors to Australia. For policies not purchased in Australia the minimum benefit for Medical Reimbursement costs must be AUD 1,000,000.The insurance cover is for 12 months, showing the start date and end date of the membership with the insurer, and/or that the insurance cover will commence on the date you arrive in Australia for a period of 12 months.The insurance evidence should include the applicant's full name and date of birth.
移民官虽然说不一定要买澳洲保险公司的，但一百万澳币的保额好像也没有中国或其他国际保险公司可以提供，完全就是废话。澳洲保险公司我看也没这么高保额的，直接说必须买澳洲保险就完了。
进入正题。澳洲保险公司主要就是Medibank, Bupa, HIF, Australian Unity, 还有几个公司只针对457签证，600不可以，就不提了。
以上公司针对600签证的最低险种价格基本上在1200-1400澳币，要预付一年，不管获签之后能不能退，都是笔一次性的大支出，比往返机票还贵。
偶然发现了Allianz Global Assistance（Allianz Group的成员，信誉应该有保证。无权限发链接，请自行搜索） 提供的Overseas Visitors Health Cover 其中的 Budget Visitors完全满足签证要求，单人一年只有$929，应该是能找到的最低价格了。不知道为什么couple的价格是$2499，折合到一个人就变成了1249，和别的公司比就没有优势了。搞不清楚，其他公司都是couple价格2倍single的，反正我给父母买了2个single。最重要的一点是只要预付一个月的钱就可以拿到证明给移民官，只要$77.42一个人签证就批下来了，应该是能找到的最经济实惠的选择了。保险开始时间还可以和保险公司调整，以后可以选择月付，还是很灵活的。
看到有人问拿到签证以后可不可以取消保险，这个就见仁见智了。移民局有说游客在澳期间必须要有医疗保险，不然签证会被取消。一些保险公司有写如果你取消保险就会通知移民局相关事宜，真是有够贱的。所以获签之后事宜欢迎操作成功的朋友补充。 |
