本想去英国做访问学者，签ACADEMIC visitor，可惜对方发的邀请函出现问题，结果被拒签了，原因如下：
1、in your applicaiton you have stated that you will go to the united kingdom for a one year period as an academic visitor. in your letter of invitation from cranfield university they have stated that you will take part in EU project "waterbee ........." . i am not satisfied given the information that you have provided to me about your proposed research that you qualify for entry under the academic visitor route.
2、the guidance for academic visitor's stateds that an academic should be coming for their own private research or an academic taking part in a formal exchange project. from the information you have provided i am not satisfied that you are undertaking private research as this is an EU funded project.
3、the guidance also states that you must not receive funding from any UK source and given that the project is funded from the EU, i cannot be satisfied that this does not include UK funds. i am therefore not satisfied that you are a genuine academic visitor who qualifies under the immigration rules or that you will carry out one of the permissible activities provided fot by 46G (i) and (iii)
i have therefore refused your application because i am not satisfied, on the balance of probabilities, that you meet all of the requirements of the relecant paragraph of the UK immigration rules
