PTE考试的口语部分有一个题型就是Answer short question, 同时还会影响听力的分数。
这是一个大部分考生都认为比较难练习的题型。这种题型会给考生听一个问题，有时会配上图像，考生需要在规定时间内给出一个简短但准确的回答，回答仅限于一个单词或者短语。
虽然大部分问题是十分简单的常识题，但是对考生的临时反应要求是很高的。因为反应时间只有1s，几乎就是靠直觉，完全没有准备的余地。
考生如果英语表达不熟练，听力或者口语有不足而造成在答题时稍有迟疑，就很容易在这里失分。
目前为止，这项题型的资料不是很多，在这里给大家总结了如何练习这项题型的小tips，以及一些大神提供的模拟题供大家练习。
找一个愿意帮你练习的小伙伴
因为这项题型是听录音中的问题的，而网络上类似这样题型的录音资料非常少，大部分都是文字资料，所以寻找一位愿意帮你练习Answer short question的小伙伴是十分必要的。
他/她可以在练习中帮你朗读问题，计时，同时记录你回答的问题是否正确，还有帮你纠正答题迟疑的问题。因为此类问题的题干内容都是较简单的，并不复杂，所以这位帮助你练习的小伙伴并不需要有非常非常高的英文水平。能够正常的按照PTE录音的语速朗读问题，就行啦——如果你实在找不到这样一位小伙伴，那就只能亲力亲为啦。先把问题录下来，然后自己听录音回答问题。
在练习中需要注意的问题
首先，大家要明确自己练习的目的：一是针对PTE的考试模式提高自己对问题的反应能力；二是增长自己的常识储备量。然后才能明确自己在练习过程中需要注意的问题。
针对PTE这一题型的考试模式，我们要注意的有以下三点：
1. 答题时不可停顿太久：
因为PTE考试录音时默认超过3秒未检测到考生作答，就停止录音同时将该题记录为Complete，所以考试时千万不能停顿，这点适用于PTE中需要考生口头作答的题型。
录音一旦开始，学生就要开始作答。所以在练习中一定要多加注意是否能在限定的时间内做好答题准备并给出准确答案，思考答案的时间不能太长。
2. 不要试图回答太多内容：
这个题型需要考生给出的答案几乎都是一个单词或者短语，并不需要你回答完整的句子或者给出过多内容，多作答也不会有额外加分。
例如：
Q：What is the process of teaching and learning called?
A：× This kind of process is called education.
? Education
所以练习时，自己要注意减少不必要的作答内容，严格按照要求的“一个单词或者短语”作答。这样可以减少思考的时间，不用去想如何组织句子的语法。
3. 有目的性的扩充自己的常识储备：
这个题型的很多问题都是关于常识的，很多学生并不是不知道答案，只是一时反应不过来。练习的过程不仅是熟悉PTE考试模式的过程，也是增大自己常识储备量的过程。所以每次练习除了网上的真题资料外，也可以找一些可以拓展自己常识的知识问答作为题目来练习。
