Industry leader, Abel Rent a Car, is a well-renowned Brisbane-based rental vehicle business. Starting as a small family business, we have grown to establish several locations across Brisbane and have become a household name in the industry due to our number one focus on exceeding client expectations and providing service experiences that has turned our clients into raving fans.
With 4 locations across Brisbane enjoying continued business growth and success, we are looking for 2 x Rental Sales Officers who want to maximize their potential, to join us on our journey and meet our business goals.
About the Role This role is fast-paced, challenging and exciting where you can enjoy working closely with your Branch Manager to take ownership for the success of your branch. Some of your day to day activities will include, but not be limited to: - Exercising number one priority on ensuring clients' inquiries are answered promptly in line with our established client service system
- Focus on ensuring your branch maximizes revenue opportunities
- Adding value to clients' bookings through education of our wider suite of additional products and services
- Coordinating, managing and confirming rental bookings quickly and accurately whilst always providing service with a smile
- Processing rental agreements payments including contract extensions
- Monitoring and administration of rental activities and providing daily reports in accordance with branch procedures
- Conduct till-balancing and banking duties
- Ensuring your branch location is impeccable in presentation to give all face to face clients a 'wow' impression
- Implementing quality control procedures of vehicles upon their departure and return
- Some vehicle detailing and relocation of vehicles as required to our different Brisbane locations
- Assist with distribution of marketing material
About You Our ideal future team members are customer-focused, target-driven individuals who feel great satisfaction about not just meeting, but exceeding KPIs. Providing superior customer service is your natural gift and you provide a level of service that inspires new and existing customers to back to you repeatedly for their vehicle hire needs. At a minimum, you will have the following: - Strong experience (minimum 1-2 years) in a sales-focused environment where the aim is to not only meet, but exceed client expectations, KPIs and business goals
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with clientsand effective working relationships with your fellow team members and leaders
- Excellent verbal and written communication with an almostobsessive-compulsive attention to detail and achieving accuracy
- An attitude of embracing challenges and focusing on finding solutions
- A flexible attitude
- Experience in the vehicle rental industry and travel/tourism is highly advantageous but not essential.
The following pre-requisites are essential: - Availability to work between 7:00 - 18:00 Mon to Fri and 7:00 - 15:00 on Sat and Sun
- An open, manual current driver's licence (applicants with learner or provisional licences need not apply)
