Zomato is a full stack food tech platform focused on restaurant search, discovery and transactions. Across most of our focus countries, we’re the go to food app for all our users. In the last few years Zomato has also steadily built its transaction business on the back of a strong search and discovery business. Today Zomato has multiple products and services that ensure our users have a great meal, every time!


About The Role

Zomato Advertising platform provides smart targeting, simpler interface and greater visibility to our well rated advertisers. As a Business Development Associate, you will play a key role in acquiring and engaging the right set of restaurants to use Zomato’s Advertising platform and help them derive maximum value from it.

                Actively contact clients, pitch product and achieve sales targets
                Identify potential clients and generate sales leads for our product.
                Identify growth opportunities for your customer base
                End-to-end sales process, from cold calling to ongoing account management
                Attendance to regular team meetings, training and strategy sessions
                Forecasting expected sales
                Ensuring customer satisfaction levels are exceeded
Requirements

Here is what we are looking for:

                Previous experience in sales is essential
                A proven track record of exceeding sales KPI's and driving revenue
                Resilient and possesses a can-do attitude
                Career-driven, self-motivated and interested in working for a fast-paced start-up
                Familiarity with the geography and restaurant industry of Brisbane.
                Articulate, organized, detail-oriented, tech savvy and has the ability to multi-task
                Comfortable with ambiguity and unpredictable work hours
                Great interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience in maintaining and building client relationships
                You will be needing proficient Chinese in your role
