The Kingsford Brisbane Airport Hotel islooking for a full time Hotel Manager and it is located in Hamilton, QLD.This role is to contribute to an excellent client service experience andsupport the achievement of company objectives.

The successful candidate will be responsiblefor:
  • ·        Responsible for thegeneral supervision and operation of all aspects of the motel business
  • ·        Monitor theperformance of the hotel through verification and analysis of guestsatisfaction systems and financial reports. Initiates corrective action whererequired.
  • ·        Maintain the productand service quality standards by conducting ongoing monitoring and evaluation
  • ·        Working together withthe director, develop aggressive but achievable financial objectives consistentwith the company’s growth objectives
  • ·        Prepare monthlyfinancial reports for the directors that clearly explains the motel’sperformance and operational effectiveness
  • ·        Execute marketing,sales and operational plans to produce results that meets or excels the hotel’sbusiness plan
  • ·        Establish and maintaina pro-active human resource function to lead, train and motivate other teammembers at the hotel to align with the company’s objectives
  • ·        Supervise housekeepingactivities including scheduling housekeeper roster, and ensuring housekeepingprocedures and quality standards are being met
  • ·        Responsible for allsecurity arrangements and emergency evacuation procedures in the event of fireand other emergency situations
  • ·        Organise contractorsfor garden and property maintenance when required
  • ·        Responsible fororganizing the purchase of all motel consumable from relevant suppliers
  • ·        Attend to accountsinvoicing and purchasing activities
  • ·        Ensure the safe andaccurate handling of cash and correct reconciliation of banking procedures
  • ·        Ensure compliance withoccupational health and safety regulations
  • ·        Maintain all FrontOffice files and records
  • ·        Support the expansionof business with the development of further accommodation, functions andconference facilities
The ideal candidate will have the following qualitiesand attributes:
  • ·        Relevant diploma orbachelor degree or at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • ·        Be professional,responsible and able to work with a team of employees under constantwork pressure.
  • ·        Ability to maintainemployee’s relations leading by example and demonstrated willingness to work ina team environment.
  • ·        High organisationaland coordination capabilities
  • ·        Multi-language backgroundis preferable.
