At the present time, the population of some countries includes a relatively large number of young adults, compared with the number of older people. Do the advantages of this situation outweigh the disadvantages?
看到这道题目，内心是拒绝的。内心也是崩溃的。平时写人口老龄化的问题较多，但是突然之间要写“年轻人多过老年人”的好处和坏处，内心也是一惊，思维和观点方面都需要重新构思一遍。
*注意：题目是advantages outweigh disadvantages， 所以大家一定要记得好处和坏处都需要提及，然后再写明outweigh的问题。漏掉任何一个方面，都会导致失分。
The contemporary world has been seeing a unique demographic in some countries which have a more youthful population. In my opinion, the advantages of this phenomenon outweigh the disadvantages.

Having a population misbalance between the old and young, with more of the latter, could encompass certain disadvantages. Old people, in general, are more experienced and have accumulated years of knowledge and exposure that they can pass along generations. With less old people in the population, there might be a drain of knowledge. For example, in countries such as India where there are more number of young adults, big companies are unable to effectively train their employees since there are not many older people to guide them and provide them with proper mentorship.

Despite the arguments mentioned above, I believe that young people are drivers of progress of a nation. Young people are usually considered to beaction-oriented and they take the initiative to advance in diverse fields. For example, technological development is driven by young minds who are able to tap into their innovation and build new devices such as tablets, smartphones and fitness trackers. Moreover, a larger number of youngsters enhance a country's multiculturalism. Younger people are more flexible and open to new things which makes them appreciate other people's cultures and heritages, which further impacts others' perceptions. For instance, with globalisation, young individuals in Australia have adopted more accepting attitudes towards Asian cultures that allow everyone around them to be more open-minded towards this diversity.
