澳洲邮递是神马情况啊? register post是要自己去拿么?

本人住brisbane,之前在网上买过代购的东西,都是直接送到家里来的.
但是最近又买了些东西,被告知是register post,在网上有tracking number的,查了一下状态说是今早11.51分有attempted delivery,现在的状态是awaiting collection at sunnybank post shop.
可是我早上那个时间明明就在家,根本就没听到有人敲门啊...而且也不止我一个人在家,没可能大家都没听到有人敲门吧...?
还是说澳洲的register post就是放在邮局,等你自己去拿的吗?

请问大家澳洲快递都是要自己去拿的吗? 为什么我之前收到的包裹都是直接送到家里的呢?
亲自跑去拿真的好不方便啊..而且那邮局还不在我家这一片...真是太神奇了..

楼主这种事情多发生在unit或者那种有大门锁的小区，一般来说邮局一看到这种邮件，除非是Express,一般的平邮或者register post，都是直接给你发小纸条，让你去邮局取。

由于邮购东西的大小不一，以及考虑到白天可能没人在家。。。etc,  邮局方面为了预防遗失，所以register post都是放邮局, 你得带着证件自己去邮局领。单子上面应该会有在写哪个邮局领取的。一般是不会按门铃的- 现在网购的人越来越多，邮差不会载着一大堆包裹到处跑。。。
