We are seeking a Hotel Receptionist to join our busy Front Office team in a Full Time capacity and accommodation is provided.  As the first point of contact for our guests it is vital that the ideal candidate has a passion for guest service excellence and adding value.

Key Areas include but are not limited to:

  • Meet and greet guests on arrival , which includes guest check in and out, cash handling, & foreign exchange;
  • Managing a busy switchboard, this includes handling phone enquiries & taking reservations .
  • Provide concierge services which includes providing guests with relevant hotel and local information;
  • Conduct site inspections of Hotel facilities;
    The Ideal Candidate:

  • Maintains a strict code of confidentiality at all times;
  • Solid organisational skills - Eye for detail coupled with a strong ability to proactively identify, prioritise and manage multiple tasks, and successfully accomplish objectives in a busy and challenging workplace;
  • Excellent communicator with a strong ability to develop cooperative working relationships;
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Excellent presentation and grooming;
  • Previous Opera program experience is an advantage;
  • Availability to work weekdays, evenings and weekends and is essential;
  • A great sense of humour and enjoys creating a sense of fun in the work place.
