这算反套么？

今天早晨起床收到一封邮件，原来是surrey空间中心的一位Dr写来的一封信，先前他给我来过一封信询问资金状况，因为他的专业比较冷，我没理他。
好像上次我和空间中心的其他人（不是他）联系的时候透露出打死我也只能提供2年资金。不知如何被他得知了，他在信中写道：
I understand that you are seeking a postgraduate position at Surrey Space
Centre and that you have funds to finance two years of research. If this is so,and you can provide documentary evidence of this, we can offer you an MPhil
research project. It may be the case that we may be able to find an additional year of funding to enable you to complete a PhD here (but this is not guaranteed as it dependent of winning future research contracts).
现在我有点哭笑不得的感觉。现在还有QUB和Edinburg以及birmingham的没回音，真不知道怎么办了，专业好像不是很热，但是我想越冷的越好出论文。说实话我也没看懂的说。



我该怎么办啊？大家帮我看看这个老师是不是真是诚心招人啊？他是新去空间中心的。我该不该答应啊？
还有2年应该差不多要多少钱啊？
