法国旅游签证急问

我看了法国使馆网页，上面说. The validity of the passport MUST EXCEED BY 3 MONTH the expiry date of the Schengen. Your BRITISH VISA MUST EXCEED BY 1 MONTH the expiry date of the Schengen visa。
好像实说在申根签证到期时，护照要有三个月以上，英国签证要有一个月以上。
可是好像有人说要签证要要有三个月以上才可以，是不是搞错了？？
