　　但是，承认高考并不意味着放宽了入学要求。高考成绩要达到学院规定的入取要求外，英语水平也同样要达到标准。例如：悉尼大学要求的最低直读要求是雅思6.5分，单项不低于6分，这一要求是对于一般的专业而言。例如法律专业，语言的要求一般在雅思7.5分。

留学准备和高考备考没有冲突。考前申请，可以让参加高考的孩子有个更加放松的心态，即使高考不理想，可以马上安排申请签证，前往录取的学校就读。考后申请，在时间上稍微有些紧张，但是对于条件基本符合的同学，有很大可能比一同参加高考的同学晚半年或一年入学，具体情况依据申请学校的申请要求而定。
