他的账单上只要一个项目记录什么时间回邮件的，就要了699，加上gst,就快800了。他是说回我的邮件用了一个办小时是吗。我觉他应该说明计费情况再提供服务，这样太突然了

在你的帖子上略知有关你的情况，在南澳洲，律师收费准则是有严格的规定的，例如，看你的邮件，律师可以收费$19.50一页。法律思考是有本钱的。我不知道你问的法律问题是什么，一般来说，法律问题不是容易解答的。很多时候需要翻书或看法律的条文才可以找到答案。我认为这位老外律师收你$699.00是合理的。该老外做了那么多手续才收你$699.00加上GST，这个费用是合理的。
我不赞成你因为这件事而打官司。如果要打官司的话，你的费用会继续增加下去。
再者，这个程序已经构成提供法律服务的完整程序，你是很难答辩声称没有找他的法律服务的。
除了时间上计算外，每一个程序法律上都有严谨规定的，例如，接听客人电话，根据现行的表格2第7项，每6分钟，可以收取$31.41。看一封信，65行字，如果重要的话，会收取$19.50，如果不重要的话，可以收取$7.30。写一个电邮，65行，可以收$65.00，但在未写电邮之前，包括思考，分析客人的问题，寻找答案，这些都可以收费的。
希望楼主明白，知识财富是金钱，思考是需要资源和费用的。任何法律上的问题都不是容易解决的。本律师每天花差不多2小时答广大侨胞的问题，也不可以随便乱答的。因为律师提供的法律意见，是有法律上的后果的。如果给错法律意见的话，客人可以提出法律上的诉讼。因此律师出每封信，打每一个电话，给每一个法律意见都是谨慎处理的。
基于上述的分析，本律师认为楼主不应再为这件事执着下去。再者老外律师起诉客户，拿取律师费是相当普遍的。
