YOUR
ROLE
·        
Partner
& provide tax advisory support to top management and business on technical
tax matters affecting business operations, including but not limited to:
           GST
           Stamp Duty FBT
           Payroll Tax
           Employment taxes
           Expatriates
          Corporate Income Tax
           International Taxes
·        
Ensure
timely preparation and lodgement of the internal and external obligations in
line with tax compliance benchmark, including but not limited to:
·        
Preparation
of consolidated corporate tax return
·        
Forecast
Tax obligations
·        
Review
of annual Payroll Tax return calculations
·        
Review
tax related balance sheets
·        
Annual
statutory & quarterly tax reporting obligations
·        
Liaise,
communicate and work with the business to ensure the correct amount of tax
planning is done in accordance to Australian tax legislation and within the
boundaries of tax laws.
·        
Understanding
key areas of tax risk and ensure compliance with the Group’s tax risk
management and control framework in relation to Australian taxes are identified
and managed appropriately
·        
Identify
tax issues or changes to legislation affecting the business

PRE-REQUISITES
·        
5
years tax experience either in Australia accounting Big 4, tier 2 firm or large
in-house tax team
·        
Strong
tax compliance experience, including preparation and/or review of income tax
returns, tax provisions and distribution reviews
·        
Pursuing
completion of a Masters of Tax or CA qualification
·        
Legal
and/or commerce degree (desirable)
·        
Strong
interpersonal, collaborative and influencing skills and the ability to motivate
and develop high performing teams
