一是：我对这个专业非常感兴趣，很想学习这门课，但是这个课程在国内没有专门开设这个硕士课程，但英国有。
二是：***大学的建筑学和城市设计非常有名
三是：我的硕士导师是世界***领域著名的教授和研究者，我对他***领域的研究很感兴趣。
I think there are several reasons. Firstly, I am very interested not only in my major but also in ***. So, for my MA program, I hope join a mixture course involving the two different fields. There are no this kind of courses in China at present. I find this kind of courses in UK’s universities. Especially, in Nottingham University. Secondly, the course in the university is well known in Europe. Thirdly, my future director of the MA course is a worldwide famous professor and researcher in the field of ***. I am very interested in the results of his research in the field.

Of course. My English language course will begin on 26 Sept. 2001 and finish on 21 Jun. 2002. This is the full -time course, and 20 hours per week. Content: Academic Writing, Understanding lectures and note making skills, Reading, Grammar, Using Words, Speaking and Presentation skills.
The Ma course will begin in Sept. 2002 and finish in Sept. 2003. Full-time course, 24 hours per week. Two semesters courses content:******. And Dissertation in Summer Period.

Why do you need to study the English language so long in the UK?
M: 原因有三。
第一， 我的雅思成绩不够学校的要求，所以需要在学校学习语言课程
第二， 在大学期间，特别是在高年级，我发现英语在这个专业中应用广泛，大学时我的英语成绩不好在某种程度上影响了我的成绩，我不希望在硕士学习期间它仍然是学习的障碍。
第三， 在英国学英语有良好的语言环境，相信我能迅速提高我的英语水平。
Firstly, my score of IELTS is only 5.0, it does not reach the requirement of the university of Nottingham. So, I have to study English language course in the university. Secondly, because my score on English was not good, it had reduced my final scores and average scores in the *** University. Thirdly, I think, in UK, the best environment of English language learning in the world, I can improve my English rapidly.

No, I would not to go. Because I will get the more chance to develop my occupation in Chinese company than in UK’s.

M: 我将回到中国。

O: 为什么你一定要回来？
Why do you so sure you will come back to China？
M: 两个原因。
第一是家庭的关系，我父母就我一个孩子，我必须回来尽孝道。而且我的男友还在国内，他有很好的工作，准备我毕业以后回来结婚。
第二是我学的专业在英国来说已经是饱和的了，而在中国有很大的市场但是缺乏这方面的专业人才，我回国后有更好的发展。而且我要去的这个公司是北京有名的建筑设计公司。
I think there are two important reasons. First of all, my parents have only one child, that’s me, so I must come back to take care of them. And my boyfriend will stay in China, he has a very good job. I will come back to marry with him. The other reason is about the company, which I will join. It is one of the best companys in the*** field in Beijing.
O: 你认为你将在这个公司的年收入是多少？将来的职位？
How much money will you earn in the company, when you come back? And your position?
M: 我想这将取决于我的表现，但年收入不少于20万。
I should get the Position of General Manager Assistant, if I go to the company now. So I think I will get a better and higher position, when I come back from UK.

M: 谢谢你，但是我有一个小问题，我将在18号开学，我知道北京反签的日期由7天改回17天了，如果我将反签的话，我能赶上开学吗？学校接待国际新生的日期是9月18-22日。
Excuse me. I have one more question about my entry day. The international office of the University of Nottingham will welcome the new international students on 18 -22.Sept. 2001. As I know, if my visa needs to be approved by London, it will spend about 17 work-days. I’m afraid I can’t go to the university on time. Could you give me your opinion/ the suggestion about it?
