PTE阅读特训之Re-order paragraph
做这种类型的题目，首先，也是最重要的一点就是要把第一句话选对。那么，如何才能选对呢？？
并不是那么难哦——
因为第一句话也是一段的topic sentence, 一定会有一些特点会将其与其他句子区分开来。
1. 第一个句子本身是可以独立的表达意思的。这意味着这个句子不能以过渡词或短语或连词开始。
2.其次，这句话没有任何模棱两可的代词。例如，‘he’， 'she' or 'it' 等代词可能指代句子中的名词或物体，因此通常不能放在第一句。
3. 最后，这个句子的结构是完整的。这句话将会有主语和动词谓语，也会表达完整的思想。
例题
It is important to register for sessions with the industry professionals as numbers are limited.
The conference is part of the career counselling centre's campaign, which has been designed to assist final year students transitioning out of university and getting their careers off to a good start.
Students will be able to speak with industry professionals and graduates who had the benefit of this assistance last year.
The University will host its second annual Arts and Commerce Career Readiness Conference on campus next month.
解析
第一句话中，‘it is important to' 是句子中的一个typical transitional.
第二句，'the conference’概括了一个已经表达过的conference。
短语 'will be able to' 是将来式， 但是句子中没有指明时间。所以，这个句子是不完整的。
这句话很明显表达了完整的意思，拥有完整的句势，所以是第一句话。 |
