Property and Asset Management Coordinator
Full time & permanent position
Sydney’s Western Suburbs
Salary range – 65,000 to 85,000 depending on experience and qualifications

The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, experienced (junior 1or 2 years’ experience can be considered) and suitably qualified Property and Asset Management Coordinator, as a key team member in the company with industry best practice, knowledge, relevant skills and qualifications in this field.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Draft, propose or update existing real estate management policies, SOPs, strategies and plans to the management and implement
  • Draft, prepare and implement annual budgets for general maintenance, rental income, expenditures including repairs, replacement, fire protection, environmental protection
  • Organize tenders, quotes for property repairs, replacement, maintenance, fire service, pest control etc and negotiate and present preferred proposals to management for approval
  • Participate in due diligence for property acquisitions and sales as well as selection of and working with agencies and related negotiations
  • Management of all property contracts including lease, new purchase and sale, agency agreements etc
  • Monitor and update real estate data base including market info on industrial, office, rural for acquisitions, sales and leases
  • Work closely with broker and finance department to prepare and arrange property insurance ISRs and other related business insurance, annual renewals and new covers
  • Coordination with insurer, broker to arrange site surveys, risk assessment and implementation of required improvements, environmental protection, report and follow up insurance claims
  • Frequent communications externally with broker and internally with member companies before and after renewals to make sure information exchanged are consistent and adequate for all policy or coverages underwritten by the insurers
  • Drive, lead and deliver sustainable and profitable performance
  • Other duties as directed.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Good knowledge of and experience in real estate and asset management such as industrial, office or residential properties
  • Ability to research and analyze market information, conduct due diligence for acquisitions or sale and disposal of properties including commercial leases internally to member companies and externally to other parties
  • Good knowledge of and experience in ISR insurance and business insurance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, consultation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with colleagues, member companies and external stakeholders, ability to attention to details and good team player
  • Ability to problem solving and multi-tasks
  • Property management, civil engineer, insurance, finance, accounting background or tertiary education or equivalent qualification and good at numbers
  • Driver license
  • PR or work permit
