About W Cosmetics:W Cosmetics is a boutique chain cosmetics company with multiple stores in Australia. We have finally decided to enter into the Sydney Market, and out first store will be Westfield Hurtsville. We stock a range of prestigious brands from all over the world, predominantly from Korea, Japan, Europe, and locally from Australia. In addition, W Cosmetics also provide beauty services such as nail art, hair and makeup services, eyelash extensions, as well as facial services.
We are hiring multiple sales staff - full time, part time, casual.We are also hiring one store manager.
Essential for Sales Staff:Previous experience in professional retail environment.Background in Makeup will be preferred but not essential.Knowledge of makeup and skincare.Bilingual is very much preferred.
Essential for the Store Manager Role:Language Skills: Bilingual is essential due to the nature of the business and company background, must be fluent in English and also Chinese or Korean.Leadership Skills: You will have to keep your employees motivated, resolve conflicts and make hard decisions for your employees.Time Management: You will be working with employees, customers and management. You might have to create schedules, order supplies and write reports. Time management is essential to make sure everything gets done.Budgeting: You will be expected to keep and maintain a budget in almost every field. You will need to be confident in using math skills to make sure you know where money is being spent.Analytical Skills: You will be in charge of hiring new employees, and being a good judge of character will help ensure that you hire the right people to maintain an efficient and motivated team. You will also need analytical skills to be able to solve problems that may come up during a typical work day.Decision-Making Skills: Whether it is dealing with employees, customers, management or vendors, you will have to make decisions that affect the company. Having the ability to make hard and fast decisions is crucial in this role.Speaking and Writing: You will be expected to do a lot of communicating. This might be one-on-one to a customer, in front of a group of employees, or in a meeting with management. You will be called upon to write weekly reports, monthly reports, recommendations, and employee appraisals. In addition, these will be great verbal communications and writing skills will help you in any of these scenarios.Customer Service Skills: Customers are going to ask to speak to you on many occasions about many different things. How you interact with customers is crucial for repeat business, employee morale and the health of your company. Great customer service skills will help you solve issues before they become problems, and help create customer loyalty.Negotiation Skills: At times, you will be expected to communicate with Brand Representatives and Area Managers, regarding account openings, account closings, stock issues etc. You will need to communicate and often negotiate with these brands on behalf of company.Forecasting: You will be expected to forecast the business and roster accordingly. This requires you to know the market with great detail within the industry, within the specific shopping complex, and also within the target market.
