IF YOU CURRENTLY HAVE A STUDENT VISA APPLICATION BEING PROCESSED PLEASE
READ THIS IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
PLEASE NOTE THAT CURRENT PROCESSING TIMES ARE AN AVERAGE OF 4 MONTHS FROM
THE TIME OF LODGEMENT TO THE PRE VISA ASSESSMENT (PVA) STAGE. IF YOUR
APPLICATION PASSES PVA, A LETTER WILL BE SENT OUT ASKING YOU TO UNDERGO
MEDICALS, TO OBTAIN A CONFIRMATION OF ENROLMENT IN YOUR COURSE/S AND TO
SEND US YOUR PASSPORT. YOU SHOULD ALLOW 5 MONTHS BEFORE YOU CAN EXPECT TO
RECEIVE MAIL FROM US AFTER YOU LODGE YOUR APPLICATION.
WE WILL NOT RESPOND TO ENQUIRIES ABOUT APPLICATION PROGRESS IF THE
APPLICATION WAS LODGED LESS THAN 5 MONTHS AGO, AS IT WOULD BE STILL IN THE
PROCESSING QUEUE AWAITING PRE VISA ASSESSMENT.
FILE NUMBERS ARE NOT PROVIDED UNTIL AN APPLICATION HAS PASSED PVA. LETTERS
ADVISING FILE NUMBERS AND PROCESSING TIMES ARE NO LONGER BEING SENT OUT.
If you need to submit any further information about your application prior
to receiving your file number, please provide your name and date of birth
details (and receipt number if possible) with this information. These
details will enable us to locate your application and attach these
documents to your file.
IF YOU HAVE ALREADY PASSED PVA AND WE HAVE RECEIVED ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
- your application will be decided approximately 6 weeks before your course
start date, or if your course start date is closer than 6 weeks, it will be
decided as soon as possible.
