JOB DESCRIPTION • Working in teams of between 10 and 40 staff, conducting Quality Assurance duties on a range of fresh produce including watermelons, pumpkin and citrus (, grading, packing) • Manual Labour including cleaning to HAACP standard • Working in cold regulated environment < 16°c
WHO WE NEED • We prefer you to join our team with long term employment goals. This is an entry level position, however, there is genuine scope to advance within the company as we continue to expand. Development is based on performance and ability to assume additional accountabilities. • Experience working in the fresh produce sector or similar fast paced logistics industry is desired. We offer enhanced mentoring system • You must be a team player, on any given day you could be working within a team of 10-40 so it is vital that you are able to understand the value of your contribution to the team
KEY JOB INFO • Shift times: commence at 4AM and usually finish at 1230 or 2PM (overtime rates apply) • Basis of employment: Casual with the option to advance to Permanent Full-Time following successful completion of 6 months probationary period. • Pay rate: Normal Time = $21.65/hr. + 9.25% Superannuation + Overtime Rates
